What do you think of the new peugeot's such as the 1007 and the 207? Do you like the new way in which Peugeot are designing their new cars, or don't you?
Please post your comments in, i look forward to reading them!

I t looks quite interesting, almost like they are going down the sportback route with the 207. Im not sure generally about the styling of the modern peugeots, while ok, I think that they have gone downhill ever since they ditched pininfarina.

Its not too bad, I prefer the front end to the back, but Im not sure about the bumper sticking out through the grill on the 07's. nice interior though, although I thought the 206 finsih inside was OK aswell. Is this to replace the 206 I take it? pity that manufacturers have to go with bigger engine, more power, bigger interior/exterior so it doesnt look like taking a backward step. Its nearly the size of a 307 now.

Can't say I'm a big fan of the newer cars. I quite like to 1007 and 107 but they don't have enough gallic charm. Renault seen to have worked out how to make a modern car look "French" with the clio and megan. The 207 is a non starter for me. Tweaking hte design of the 206, making it bigger and heavier so adding a bigger engine to row it all along just isn't clever and modern cars should be clever! Good french automotive design can be great and the Renault Avantime and Vel Satis and now the new Citroen C6 shown that it can still be great. Shame no one buys them! Sadly Peugeots current bland eurobox styling does seem to sell, but sticking some fancy shaped headlights onto a car doesn't make it automatically look like a Peugeot! 6 out of 10
