How many of a certain car were made, eg. 205 and what colours they made most? Had a debate with husband over it he rekons they made more white and i rekon red is more popular, is there any way you can find out how many were made and how do you find it? Any help on winning this debate much appreciated, haha Thanks sonia x

CPUK have a list of the numbers of each model of Peugeot remain on the roads in the UK. Peugeot themselves know how many of each car they made and it might be possible to find this out either on the net or via the Peugeot press office, however I think it is unlikely that they would have data easily to hand on the relatives sales of each colour!

pre 96 yes, I know - but not in colours. 205 production did not cease until 1999. At least over 5 million 205 in european build.

Thanks ppl! I too thought red was the most popular colour! Talking of colours do you think its wrong of me to go and wreck my original white 205 by givin it a spray job of midnight blue ?? i cant make my mind up, she has a few dings which would really benefit from a spray up but then i dont wanna go messing up the original colour? What does everybody think? :

Personaly unles you have a full respray, in and out I think changing the colour looks "orabull"
Best stick to white, you only need to have a quicky then.

Yes, unless you are going to respray inside too, and the engine bay, arches etc then stick to the original colour. Not only will it look better but it will be easier to sell on as buyers will shy away from an obviously resprayed car.
