I have received several scam e-mails over the last few weeks from persons claiming to have got my details from the CPUK website. The theme is the same, in two cases with identical wording. The person expresses (in poor English) an interest in the car or parts I have advertised (I havn't) and requests that I call a premium rate number to discuss. These numbers cost up to £1.50 per minute to call and net the owner a substantial profit from callers listening to a recorded message. The scams have all come from Yahoo.fr accounts and I have reported them to abuse@Yahoo.fr. If you don't have a car for sale it is easy to spot the scam. However, I urge all advertisers on this site to be aware of this scam and to forward any dodgy e-mails to the originators service provider. Whatever you do - don't call the premium rate number. Regards, Donaldiesel
