As seen on ebay: cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4528058118&fromMakeTrack=trueThe recent history of this car is interesting... Imported from Northern France (French '59' plate clearly visible on picture) about 3 years ago by DS specialist French Classics. The car was quite corroded and required important bodywork restoration. It took well over a year to sell for about £6k to a buyer in Manchester who rapidly sent it back to French Classics. According to French Classics, the buyer found the fuel consumption too heavy for a daily use. French Classics then had it on consignment for over another year and eventually managed to sell it on ebay just a few months ago. I can't remember the price. Today, it's for sale again! Is there something wrong with the car? Looking at the description, one can wonder whether the seller wants £5,000 for it. As a matter of interest, I should advise that good 2.0l Coupé don't usually cost more than 5000Eur in France...

Well it looks nice enough. Did all coupés have discs on the rear?
maybe it just looks a lot nicer than it is.

Yes, discs all around. Rear brakes on 4 and 6 cyl are the same as on 505s and 604s. V6 have double vented discs at front.
I contacted the seller. He's relocating to the US. He bought the car last September and is trying to recoup his purchase price. He's changed the exhaust and just had a service done.

So many cars, so little cash!
