If you go to the home page of the main cpuk site you should see an advert for Pugspares on theright hand side about halfway down (if you see a Meme ad simply refresh the page until the pugspares ad appears). Click on the link, they should be able to help you.

Hi All,
I shall be changing my company car soon. I have to choose from a list including the following:
Peugeot 407 SW 2.0 HDi Executive (Manual or Auto) - can add extras VW Passat Estate 2.0 TDi (140bhp) SE or Sport - can add extras to SE Toyota Avensis 2.2 D-4D Tourer T4 - can add extras Skoda Octavia 2.0TDi Laurin & Klement Estate - can add extras Audi Avant 2.0 TDi (140bhp) SE - no extras allowed
Your thoughts & comments would be much appreciated as would feedback from existing 407 SW HDi owners. I am a high mileage driver (45,000 p.a.) so I am interested in comments on reliability and service.
Looking forward to hearing from you.

LOL I've just bought a 407 myself but to even consider an alternative to the Audi from that list would be mental!

I have had a new 407sw since April 5th, it goes in for it's first service tomorrow. So far I cannot fault it in any way, I tried all the others and this is what my findings were: Jag x-type estate, very nice, but don't do a diesel with an auto-box, only serious competitor. BMW 3series, too small BMW 5-series, don't like the driving position, feels like a tank in comparison, and they both have run-flat tyres! If you want to know why I hate cars with run-flat tyres, buy one & wait til you get a flat! Audi, £10,000.00 more for anything approaching the same spec, whilst they share the same engine, you have to rev the Audi like a petrol to get it to go. my colleague has an A5 and we prefer the Peugeot to drive and the Audi has a wheelbarrow spare wheel! Toyota, just didn't like anything about it, not even in the same street. Merc C class, horrid sat-nav, no blue-tooth or built-in phone like the Peugeot, and a wheelbarrow spare wheel. Honda, again, very nice but the Peugeot sat-nav was better, the Honda doesn't have proper blue-tooth, Peugeot built in phone is so much better than all the rivals and the Honda doesn't have a spare wheel, I think it's the Honda that has a can of sticky stuff & a pump.
If you think I'm anal about spare tyres, I do a lot of miles and I have had 3 punctures in 18,00. it cost me £5.00 each to get them repaired, my colleagues Audi cost him £380.00 3 times in the first 5,00 miles for punctures, the BMW 5 series got 4 at once on holiday in France and they had to fly 4 new run-flats in from Germany. Not for me!

LOL I've just bought a 407 myself but to even consider an alternative to the Audi from that list would be mental! Why? what does the Audi deliver, except for an inflated price tag, that the 407 can't? The Audi 'build quality' (what exactly does that mean anyway?) is a chimaera. The bimmers are ok, if you like that kind of thing, but pricy, and even pricier when bedecked with a half decent level of trim.
