Hi All, Anyone have any experience of tuning 407 HDi diesels? There are lots of companies offering ECU remaps, tuning boxes etc. Who has tried any of these and what are your findings/observations? Are any of these modifications approved or viewed with 'understanding' by dealers (especially regarding warranty)? I understand the motorsport division of Toyota (TTE) actually supply a tuning box for their diesels via UK dealers.

I have heard nothing but good reports from the Derv Doctors. They have years of experience with Pug diesels. www.dervdoctor.co.uk

Try Van Aaken Developments of Crowthorne,01344 777553,www.vanaaken.com They specialise in tuning diesels, and also chips for petrol ecu`s.They have some very clever people who made my 16V fly.I would say that Peugeot warranty would not like any mods, also you would have to let your insurance co know about any mods,They check ECU`s these days.

Hi, try Tunit. The units are removable and if you change cars you can part exchange them for a new unit. You can even try before you buy...... a nice k&n filter will help with the breathing too....As with any upgrade one should use a good quality oil to protect the turbo and engine. Millers Xfe or Mobil 1....
