Frank is correct. The only way to get to the problem is with a very good diagnostic tool, like a Diag 2000.Also it is very important that you have a very good technician who can understand the information on the screen. All Peugeot Dealers have all the right high tech` kit but may only have one chap who knows how to use it!Find your self a small independent "high tech` specialist"with the correct diag` tools. The other way is to keep changing componants, spend £100`s and the fault may go![or is still there.]

Well think yourself lucky, my wife's 307 hdi Dturbo has just reached 76k and has just exploded another flywheel. The 1st one was replaced under the warrenty (36k) - only after a 10 weeks battle with Customer Services and Trading Standards and the Dealer. The latest one has left me with a £1k bill by a independant, if the dealer was to "Investigate" that would be £1k alone, plus then ££££ to fix the problem. My advise is to keep well clear of the 307, very very poorly built and Peugeot know this but don't do anything about it. Once I have recovered from this large bill, the Cars gone and will be replaced with another make who know how to build cars propoerly off to look at Skoda Octavia - No. 6 in JD Power (Pug 307 - 135)
