I have never learnt French only Norwegian!
Is it Pewjoe or Perjoe in pronouncing the marque name?
Regards Peter.

In the UK it is normally Perjoe (with a soft j) while the french say Pew (as in church seat) Joe. from Wikipedia: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peugeot#PronunciationThe common French pronunciation of "Peugeot" is 'pø:?o (using the IPA). In the South of England, it is usually pronounced "PERzho" (IPA 'p? ?), while Americans often used "pooZHO" (IPA pu?'?o?) instead. In some countries, "PYOOzho" ('pju??o?) is encountered. In Greece it is pronounced "Pezzo," and in Danish "Pesjø" (IPA 'pe:?ø). Peugeot and Peugeot cars have also gained the nicknames of 'pug' and 'pugs' in the UK.

The French say "peu-joe" (as in "un petit peu"), NOT "pew-joe". And the French equivalent of "Pugs/Pugs" is "Pigeot" (pronounced pee-joe).
Et voila.
