Hi
Does anyone know if an example of the Peugeot 504 Riviera exists? I've heard there may be one in Spain, but don't know for sure. For those who don't know, the Riviera was a two-door estate based on the 504 coupe, very much in the Volvo 1800 ES mould. Designed by Pininfarina as a design exercise, it was shown at the 1971 Geneva motorshow and it's thought only three prototypes were made.
If any one could shine any light on it, I would be grateful.
Thanks
Paul

The 504 Riviera does indeed exist as a Shooting Brake concept car, it is not a myth. This luxury country estate model is based on the chassis of the Coupé. And, yes, the unique example of this very elegant car is rumoured to be in the hand of a Spanish collector.
