Hello Matt. welcome and you have an awesome car, which I'm sure is the one I've seens at past FCS's or maybe Pugfest.
With regard to insurance some of the more well known names are always worth a quote (well known for classic insurance that is, not the TV advertising ones).
CPUK have a good club deal with Adrian Flux - use the link on the CPUK website homepage ad - you may need to refresh the page a few times since the ad rotates. There is also Footman James.
I would ask them what they accept as a valid third party valuation. Some rely on empirical evidence from ebay/motor trader etc while some will accept a valuation from a car club, which tends to be better since a car like your T16 is hard to value and you don't want it treated like a run of the mill Mi16.
Hope this helps
Andrew

I used Footman James in the past for my 504 V6 but found cheaper with better cover since. From ~£170 fully comp with FJ, I reduced to under £110 fully comp with RH Specialist Insurance with improved value for the car and no mileage limitations. And I could use the car for commuting too.
I'd recommend a couple of hours on the web to browse through and obtain a few quotes to decide. For me, I think it was worth it.
