I recently got a standard 407sw hdi 136 with about 35k on the clock (verified). It drives ok but when going at more than a sedate pace on twisty bumpy a-roads, the suspension can't cope, it bottoms out and wallows badly. Is this a familiar tale?

Frank is correct have it looked at.The front lower swivle joints fall to bits,I found out Dealers change the whole hub assembly when doing this job. There may be a re-call,check with your local Main Dealer, there are a few "mods" I think on 407`s.
