The battery on the ZS has given up the ghost and I have been faced with the chore of finding a replacement. Since I live only 50 yards from a Peugeot dealer I thought I would start there so I walked the short distance ready to be told that there was no such car as a 104.
This is what happened:
Me - I need a new battery please.
Parts Man - For?
Me - A 104 ZS
Parts Man (raising eyebrow) - Year?
Me - 1981
PM - tappety tap tap tap - yup got one. £57 inclusive
Me - Can you do any better than that, I can't imagine anyone else buying it?
PM - OK £45.43 inclusive
Me - Ta!
50 yard walk to car, 2 minute battry swap, turn key for they first time in a month, vroom vroom
Job done, most happy, well done Peugeot.

that's far better than we managed when the 104 ZL battery died! should've gone to peugeot! ;D (then i wouldn't have got a reply of "104 is that the new model?")
