205 Gentry, 1991=>1994 (pre-series in 1991, sold from 1992): Model reference (on manufacturer plate): - 20CDF2, manual gearbox - 20CDF4, auto gearbox Engine: - XU 9J1/Z - 1905cc (catalysed) - 105bhp@6000rpm - 142Nm@3200rpm Colours: - pearlescent Sorrento Green - metallic Mayfair Beige - metallic Mayerling Green (1993-only, replaces Sorrento Green) Standard equipment: - power steering - electric windows - full leather trim - full carpet trim (incl boot) - heated mirrors - dimmer - dual-light courtesy mirrors - 4 speakers - plip remote central locking - anti-pollution system (catalyst) - 14" alloys with 180/60/14 tyres Optional equipment: - A/C - ABR - sunroof - 4sp auto gearbox A fully-spec bourgeois version of the 205. One more for the ladies than for the racer boys! The external style is GTi/XS inspired but softened to give a far more classy look and the interior is revised to be luxurious and comfortable. Great 205 in my opinion; that's the model I'd have. It's NOT a GTi, the engines are quite different even if the basic bloc is the same. It is the CTi catalysed that had the exact same engine.

Well, there's a really nice one for sale not too far from me. It's a pre-series 91 model in absolute pristine condition with about 60kmls on the clock: £3k ono.
I've seen another one, 1993, average condition and 120kmls on the clock advertised for about £1000.
They're nice but not sought after like GTi versions are, so residual value is not high. Good if you are buyer.

Try a couple of grand, you'll see. Local ads probably the best. Then, there's always ebay...

Well I'm a bit miffed now, I saw one advertised locally - I wanted it just for the fawn leather seats for my partners' STDT - was going to swop the leather for the cloth and sell it on. It was a little beauty with one family owner then one additional person full service history with every single invoice from original purchase. It drove superbly but my partner decided that she would keep the black leather set that I had bought in the meantime so I sold it on to a neighbour for £600 (made £200 profit) - Now think I shouldn't have let it go so cheap!! Would have kept it but I'm a diesel man really and already have two cabrio's.
