Peugeot 307 car audio question

Hi everyone

I have a really frustrating problem with the display/RT3 stereo unit on my 52 reg Peugeot 307 XSi. It keeps turning itself off, it starts by adjusting the volume because it thinks it's over heating and then it just says 'unit will shut down to prevent possible damage'.

This is annoying because there does not seem to be an underlying cause, it does it first thing in the morning when the car has been parked up in a nice cool garage all night. I don't mind paying to get it fixed but I don't want to subsidise my local dealers mechanics just blundering away at it.

sound like an internal fault with the screen, ive seen a few do this, unfortunatly you will still have to go to the dealer as you cant get them else where and it does need programing.
