My previous car was an X reg Mondeo estate. Very nice and a sad day when it was suddenly taken from us. We inherited an elderley grandparents 406 HDi 110 GLX estate on an x plate, 2001 model with under 30k on the clock. Only today I've had all new discs and pads fitted for £398. Mines a paler metallic blue. At least it isn't Jewish Racing Gold! ha ha. I like the handling, its quite, very comfy and has a decent hi-fi. The electric seats are super. Is yours a diesel?

when i brought the car it had to have a new set of rear pads and disc's for the MOT and the air bag sorting out as-well mine a 2.0 petrol and done 145'000 miles on it but it runs very smooth i had a mondeo saloon on a S plate it got a bit to small with my 3 kids so i was driving to work one day and spotted it on a garage forecourt i was uming and arghin at first when saw it at first because of the mileage and being a petrol as well but it grew on me and he made a good deal on it so i brought it

Had mine just under a year and am hopeful it will prove as reliable as the Mondy was. I must admit, I don't have any particular brand loyalty, just so long as it doesn't cost me the Earth to run and repair. I hear French electrics can be a problem. We shall see. I must admit I prefer your car's dark blue to mine, but I can't complain seeing as the car was given to us for nothing.
