iv resently brought a 1.8 d 205 which i have already fell in love with ;D however as expected it isnt very quick and i was wandering if anyone has any advise on "more power" i was thinking the all time fav mi 16 but will this be harder because its a diesel would a stdt be more realistic?

If you want power why get a 205 diesel??Forget about a MI16 conversion that is a huge expert`s job. It`s not just a case of dropping another engine in.Even fitting a STDT engine other things will have to be altered.Run your nice 205 and with all the money you will save on fuel think about a 306DT later on.

i got the car because it was a good cheap offer and one step close to my dream 205, as for it being an expert job this isnt a problems as my uncle is a partner in a peugeot specialist motorsport company so the work will be cheap i was just looking for advice on anything others had tried

I suggest you start with upgrading the brakes and suspension. What does your Uncle recommend? Please let us know. Regards, Donaldiesel
