Hi
My husband and are in the middle of purchasing a new 308 as we have a baby on the way!
Suddenly thought might be worth asking if any of you currently have a 308 and find it big enough for a small family (i.e. your buggy fits in boot etc).
I've done my homework and it looks like the measurements are ok but always good to get advise.... especially before we completel the sale!
Many thanks

I have had the 308 5 door hatch a number of times as a rental and we have a 307 5 door hatch which we are running s our second family car.
I compared the boot space and apart from a few mm's difference here and there the boot is almost identical is size which means plenty of usable space for a car of this size.
You should have no problems carrying all the "Supplies" including the pushchair etc... if you ever need more room just take the parcel shelf out and you can load up to the roof. But rarely needed.
As a comparison my friend has an Audi A3 Sportback and it has a smaller usable boot and rear passenger area.
The 308 is in a different league in terms of quality compared to other Peugeot models but I do have to say that the Petrol versions seem to suffer from stiff suspension. If you are going for the diesel then you will get a much better ride.
If you are buying new then take time to run the engine in well and you will have a car that will last you a long time.
Also, insist on oil / filter changes every 6000 miles if you get the Turbo Diesel. Does not cost a lot, the dealer will do it while you wait but the engine and Turbo will last a lot longer.....
Hope you enjoy your new Peugeot.
