Yes I know most of you drive nice new Pugs, but just in case the winter road salt has started its damage already to your shiny cars. The brakes failed on my 1993 205 STDT due rusty steel pipes. These pipes run between the floor and the top of the fuel tank, and are difficult to see. Salt accumulates in this space and rots the pipes. My garage had inspected the brake pipes and found them OK, but had not checked inside the plastic clips which hold brake pipes to the car body. Be warned! brake failure at speed is not a happy experience. So check your brake pipes and regularly have the crevices under your car cleaned out by high pressure hose.
