Lighter

My peugeot 205 has a little tray you can open up and inside is a place for a cigerette lighter socket which has a bit of plastic blocking it off and on the bottom of this plastic is a plug which would plug into the back of the relevent cigerette lighter socket, does anyone know where i could get the relevent socket or shall i just undo the wires going into the plug bit and wire them into a new lighter socket myself?

I can go take photo's if needed-my explanation isnt the best!
