Hey all im new, just purchased a 305 on the bay, you may have seen it? Anyway its my 1st Peugeot and im very excited, never realised what a pretty little car it is!

305 is/was a great cheap car to own. 'had an 1985 Mk II 'base' version for 7 years after my 304. Never had any trouble with it. All engines of the range were pretty much bulletproof. No fancy electronics on these cars so they're realiable and you can do most things yourself!

cool thats what im after, I also have a Sierra as you might say I have a passion for simple rugged motors that I can maintain myself!
Its a 1.6 Auto, fairly base model I think but it does have PAS, no electrics though, and I would like to find a set of period alloys for it at some point too.
Btw, I have always loved the 504 coupe, gorgeous car!

A good place for you to look at: www.peugeot305.co.uk/The 1.6 engine was I think fitted to the Series 2 GT model and it was more at the top of the range than at the bottom.
