have a p reg 405 turbo diesel, all of a sudden with the cold weather it takes 6/7 goes on the ignition key to get it started, are the glow plugs on the way out. bought the car june have done 7800miles since then ..not sure when the plugs were last changed.... thanks

If the voltage to the glows is ok fit four new ones.Its about the only thing that stops these trusty old diesels from starting first go.

by voltage ok ..if you mean the battery, yes its fine turns the car over 7/8 times with out going down hill. thought it would be the plugs thanks

he means voltage at the glow plugs not at the battery
