hi all this is all new to me. i've had a new fan, thermostat, fan switch and sensor fitted. but now my car is revving high it's fine first thing in the morning but once it's warmed up it starts and my temp gauge isn't working properly. i've had 2 machanics out to it and neither of thm were sure i've had the dignostics machine on it and its reading no faults i did have a suggestion that the water pump may not be circulating the water around the engine so it might need a new one, would anyone know if this could be true or does anyone have a another idea as to what it cold be. thank you all

If the water pump wasn't circulating water around the engine you would soon know about it believe me. The huge clouds of steam would be the first clue, followed by the burning smell, then the engine would stop.
