Why is it when you sell something on Ebay and you watch someone bid at the last second so you know they are on line when you send the invoice or ask how they wish to pay there is nothing but silence?? I think its so ignorant

I have recently sold several hundred pounds worth of items on Ebay and have watched the items being monitored. Nevertheless, I have always waited for confirmation before sending an invoice or similar and 99% of the time the buyers have been genuine.
I do agree with you that some who lurk on Ebay are a real pain but it is just the same as selling direct, which I have been doing for some years, some potential customers are there merely to make life awkward. It is my reasoning that somehow they get a kick out of messing things around!
Try to forgive and forget, there is always another potential customer in the pipeline somewhere.
Regards, Peter.
