I have a P reg 405 Turbo diesel Executive Seems a bit weird but the fan starts running as soon as the ignition is switched on and remains permanently on until the ignition is switched off. The temp. guage shows minimum constantly. I would be very grateful for any ideas. Thanks in advance

check for a blown fuse under the steering wheel think its a 10 or 15amp, it will be blown, works both the fan and airbag, if its blown try another if it blows straight away its normally the contacter ring behind the steering wheel.

I bought a P reg 405 TD executive estate back in august with one of the cooling fans constantly running, it was caused by a faulty aircon control unit (also called bitron box). I don't think the airbag light was on so may not be the same problem with yours.

Problem sorted thanks to Frank. It was a faulty air bag rotary contacter.
