my 205 - full description ? BHP question too

Rightio, gettin on to the mk 1, 2 and 3 if there is one lol (i dunno im a woman) hehe

What mk wud mine be ?

I have a White pug 205 1.8 TURBO diesel.
I tried lookin up how much BHP its got - and cudnt even find the TD models

Any help, links or advice will b much apppreciated

what age is it? that determines the mark (exterior main difference being clear / orange indicators)

Hi,

205 1.-Turbo is 78bhp. Marketed as a sporty Diesel model with a special GTi-look interior. Made from 91 to 93.

In 93 two other TD models (GRDT, XRDT) were offered alongside the D-Turbo, with the same engine but a standard interior. Then for the period 94-96, GRDT and XRDT models were replaced with various special series models but none with the sporty look of the D-Turbo.

In terms of generations (not mentionning engine evos):
- Mk 1 from 1983 to 1987
- Mk 2 from 1988 till 1990 with revised dashboard, hatch door and external mirrors
- Mk 3 from 1991 till end of production with different interior plastic, richer equipment, white indicators lenses and revised (405 style) rear light clusters

Your 205 is therefore a Mk 3.
