Morning, thought I best say hi.
I've always been a fan of the Pug 205 since I passed my test 12 years ago. But I never bought one (I have no idea why) my car history has been Fiat Panda, Pug 106, MGF and now Toyota Supra.
One of my friends had a 205 CJ but bought a MX5, so it had been sitting on their driveway for a year. Yesterday I heard that her dad was selling it to a scrappy. So I went to see him and just in time bought the 205 from him for a resonable £100! I'm really pleased.
Its on an 88 plate and has done 110k, it has a relitivly new hood that in great condition, and the body work is tip top. Just needs a d**n good clean. After sitting doing nothing for a year it wont turn over, so I'm having it deliverd home on a flat bed so that I can start work on getting the engine going again, and no doubt freeing up the brakes.
I've really bought this as a nice little summer project/hobby so I will no doubt be on here lots asking other members questions. I wont chav it up, i promise, but there will be some subtle changes, like clear indicators, maybe some GTi wheels etc and I'd love to get the GTi leather interiour. So just some mordenisation.
Will no doubt post later and add some pics when it turns up, cheers guys and gals
