This one was found today on Facebook at the site "Peugeot 404 Registry" that I have set up and manage there: 4495781 Cabriolet Carburetor 1963, Blanc Saratoga 1031, Black Leather, Body modified slightly, owner needs various parts and original seats plus trim and soft top to complete, HARARE ZIMBABWE  This is our first confirmed registered car in this country and I will be helping the owner secure the parts he needs. Total: 1864 ! |

This first one was already registered back 13 years ago, but it seems to all have ended rather badly: 4595673, Coupé Injection 1965, Gris Graphite, scrapped 2014, BORDEAUX FRANCE  And then there is this one, to be restored: 6800210, Carrosserie 12890, Coupé Injection 1967, Blanc Arosa 1132, BORDEAUX FRANCE  Total: 1867! |

Just need to add to the 404 Cabriolet no. 1711 Chassis No. 4497072 info that it is Carrosserie No. 3325 and it has a Nardi Floor Shift. Mechanically it is in very good condition, body needs some work including a new roof, can anyone help me locate one please?

The only option is to have a hood made by a specialist,and it will be expensive!! Money well spent,the hood is the most important part of a cabriolet. Where are you Colin?? I`ve used these guys, www.trimmania.co.uk |

Thanks Colin! There are some suppliers of soft tops in France, but they are definitely expensive, however they make excellent units. Check out the forum of Le Club 404 for more information on these "capotes cabriolet".
