Hi all,
Recently when I took my 205 out for a spin the indicators have stopped working. (Its a 205 GRD 1990). However the hazard warning lights still work fine.
I have checked the fuses and the relay etc, but these are all fine. Does anyone know of any weak points, for me to target my investigations at. My current thoughts are along the lines of the stalk that comes out of the steering collumn, or the wiring attaching to it. However the headlights and horn which are both on the same stalk still work fine.
Any help/advice greatly appreciated
Doug

I took all the dash apart last night and removed the switch from the car and tested the continuilty of the switch with my multimeter and discovered that there was no problem with this. Also did the same with other parts of the indicator wiring. I then put the switch back in with the dash still off and tried it again - but still no joy. However once I finished re-assembling the whole dash back together I tried the indicators again and they are both working.
I am still not sure what the problem is, but it seems to be intermittent and I am just glad that the car is safe enough to be driven again.
If anyone has any ideas about what could be causing this intermittent problem then please let me know as I would like to actually properly get it working again.
Cheers
Doug

Problem finally fixed now with the replacement of the indicator stalk.
