405 Start Motor Relay location ?

Hi, can anyone tell me where the starter motor relay is, what it looks like and how to get access to it ? I reckon it's in the steering wheel console somewhere (that's where I hear the click from) but I'm having trouble locating it :-( It's a 1994 405 GRDT. Electrical diagram in the Haynes manual doesn't show a relay at all !

There are some relays behind the fuse box under and to the right of the steering wheel and some more under the bonnet on the passenger side wing in a black box. I presume you've solved the problem by now though!
