Hi, I'm new on here so first the intro..... HELLO
I have 3 205's a 1.6 F reg CTi a 205 TD and a J reg 1.9 GTi
I'm very much a fan of the 205's! But I have a problem and really need help. My Cti is getting a new roof but some parts of the frame have rusted though and cant find them anywhere!
They are the rear member that runs along the boot which the hood tucks under, maybe called the rear cross member. then the two side wing bits which strengthen the sides of the hood. The hood also tucks under these as well.
If anyone knows where I can get these from or any specialist or if anyone is breaking one. I would very much appreciate the help.
Cheers

Have a look on ebay - a friend of mine picked up a very good conditon hood on ebay recently for about £100 for the full complete unit.

I was in my Peugeot main dealer only last week, much to his annoyance, interrogating him about those side reinforcement hood metal sections - couldn't find them anywhere on the parts diagrams but I lost hope as all the bits were listed as NFP - no further production.
Happily the rear curved section that holds the rear window in place just needed a rub down and hammerite, but the side sections are holding me up getting a new hood - - was thinking of getting a fabricator to make some up as they don't look too complicated - - well from what remains of mine anyway, would probably still be cheaper than even if they were still available from the main dealer.
Its a shame that when the 205 itself is so marvellously rust proof body-wise that the hood bits rot away so quickly -- never had this with the 4 golf mk1 cabrios i've owned.

Unfortunately, the rear roof bar that you are looking for is very expensive from Pug - over £100 I think.
You may need to find one at a breakers yard - a tough one.
I was lucky that this bar was in great condition and I bought the used hood complete with frame for £100 as Kev (blue_haddock) said above.
Best of luck.
