Hi Have got the above sitting in my garage now for 7 years or so have started to collect parts that i will be needing to bring back to life, and was wondering how other owners of these little babies have converted the original 3 stud disk and drums to 4 stud pattern. Any info on how this is achieved will be much appreciated.

Hello Samba owner! Great car. I guess you can tell what I drive. Being closely related to your Samba I believe I can help. First have you found this place: 104samba.9online.fr/index.htmlIf you can read French, great, if not you will soon learn, I did! Anyway, in short yes you can do it. The back is easiest. You will need the rear wishbones, hubs and brakes etc from a Citroen C15 van as these are four stud and retain the standard visa/104/Samba rear suspension layout, unlike the 205. Scrap yards are full of C15's that have reached the end of their economic life. The front is more complex and involves mixing in 205 front struts etc and requires a lot of faffing about. Alternatively a C15 van should contain all the parts you need in one place. Fellow Samba owner and CPUK member Pat Hedsmoneigh is getting round the problem by having a set of 14 inch minilites custom made for this Samba Rallye. There isn't a lot of room under the back arches of a Samba, 185 tyres are as wide as will fit before you need to fit a wide arch kit from France. Hope this helps Andrew
