hi all......has anyone suffered a broken spring on a 406
being as the coil is of a different diameter to the strut and cup( front ...rear ??) anyone who has had the misfortune of a broken spring will know the result !!!.....just interested to know if this problem is common to the 406 , maybe inherent to its design etc ....in over 30 years of car driving ive only had one coil spring go and then was almost unaware as the cup just allowed the spring to resettle and the broken couple of inches was there to retrieve........what worries me is if this broken spring i had go on the 406 had not happened parked then its a frightening thought what could have occurred !!!!.....any info/posts here could help all on this forum i'm sure you'll agree.
