Hi, Thought I would give you an udate. Fitted the new fuel filter, poured some wynns injection cleaner in the fuel filter housing and the rest in the fuel tank. Drove the car hard at 4500-5000 revs for 25 minutes or so. The smoke cleared Yippee Got home no smoke, let the car cool down for a few hours, started the engine again, blue smoke oh dear! Could it be worn valve stem seals? The car didn't do this before the Turbo Blew? Or could it be the seals on the Turbo? Any Ideas Please. I think I'll order some new valve stem seals as they are only just over a pound each from Peugeot and replace the old ones as the car has now done 115,000 so might be a well worth while job anyway! (Hope its an easy Job) Any Other Ideas anyone?

Blue smoke generally indicates burning oil, so turbo, bore/ring wear or valve stem seals are all worth considering, as is head cracking around the EGR.

The engine may have"swallowed" some debris when the turbo first blew up??

Is it Semi-sythetic? It well could be the Turbo seals or valve Stem Seals.. But if the head was cracked i'm sure you would get mayo in the coolant i.e Water & oil mix caused my HG or cracked head. It may be worth if you are taking the head off is to get it Pressure tested or you can use stuff called "Blocktester" which retails for around £20-30 quid depending where you buy it.. Hi, Started the car up again today, same result as yesterday, smoking and running rough! After about 1 mile of driving smoke clears and engine running better. I am going to check the glow plugs and look under the rocker cover to see if I can see anything obvious that maybe causing the problem. I have also told by a mechanic how to check to see if one of the injectors is not working correctly, so I will try that as well. There is no water in the new oil which is semi-synthetic 10w/40 or the water, and there wasn't any in the oil or water that I drained out when replacing it after the Turbo replacement.
Will keep you posted. Thank you.
