Hi all,
Ive just acquired a 605 and it is great. That is until MOT time and I looked at the brakes at the rear end. Does anybody have any idea how these go together?
I think the drums inboard are OK and they seem to be held on with a huge nut. I'm getting confused and there is no documentation for this I can find.
Is it the same as an XM?
Thankyou
Alan

With the caliper off,the disc/drum (one unit) will come off after removing two small screws, just like most front discs. It will be rusty and will need a bit of a whack. Also I bet the pins that hold the rear pads inplace will be siezed in the caliper.

Cheers oldpug...
I think that was where I was stuck.. it appears nicely ceased together... Ill go wild with a can of lubricant and relace all the pads etc.

I apologise for not updating but the old 605 is now on the road doing 150 mile a day in comfort. few little faults to sort (leak from heater matrix) and trying to get remote locking working.
Thanks for the help and merry christmas!
