Hello all I am a newbie and a life long Peugeot enthusiast. Really great to find a club for the less recent models. I have recently purchased a 304 Cabriolet (1974) in white but am finding obtaining spares very difficult. I need a clutch slave cylinder which none of the usual sources in Yorkshire or Germany can help me with. The old unit cannot be overhauled with new seals etc. I tried . It leaked! The Later 75- unit cannot be used as the bleed nipple is in the wrong place and fouls the engine mount I am sure that the part I need was common to the saloon as well as I had on of these many years ago. I am now having to get the old unit re-sleeved as I can no longer drive the car. Have other members had the same problems with sourcing parts?

Hi Guys Thank you very much for the help with spares for my 304. I had already tried Dean Hunter to no avail but it would appear that serie04 have what I need plus lots of other interesting bits I also tried Franzose.de who have a great range and indeed I got a new clutch master cylinder from them for 39 Euros but they did not have a slave cylinder for my car. I also scoured Ebay for weeks looking but could only find the later 75- cylinder and Googled for days and had not found serie04 and was getting rather dispondant. After trying to bleed the knackered old cylinder for an hour I recall muttering "should have bought an MG or Triumph Spitfire" It would be a great pity to have such a lovely car (which turns heads wherever she goes) off the road for months or even years for what I would class as a consumable part. Thanks again guys will post some photos of the car once she is mobile again
