:(Hi folks, just new so hello to all, I bought a v reg 306 1.6 lx with burst heater matrix last month, reliable wee car started with no problems remote functioning okay etc so I bypassed the matrix temporarily to get me by for a few weeks ,but its getting to cold now,so I decided to replace the matrix this weekend after having to remove the dash etc, anyway it wasnt too bad so I replaced the matrix & refitted all the dash electrics in reverse of removal now the car just turns over but fails to start, all connectors etc have been checked over & are ok. I have a couple of questions, first,Friday afternoon once I had all the wiring, dash & electrics all disconnected I forgot I had the driverside window down so I had to reconnect some of the multi-plugs at fusebox to raise the window,at the same time I thought I might as well start the car & put it in my garage as the weather got pretty poor but it just turned over as I forgot the immobiliser box above the ashtray & the chip ring on the steering column was still disconnected,so I decided just to leave it outside & continue, could this have locked out the key?although the remote central locking is still functioning and secondly when I crank the engine I dont hear the fuel pump priming should I? sorry for the long post, any help will be greatly appreciated, thanks,Bill.PS,also should say Ive checked & theres no fuel getting to the rail.

Hi Frank, thnx 4 reply,No I havent actually checked at pump side for a feed yet,but all fuses (inc the one,s under the bonnet)& relays are intact,I''ll check for a power feed tomorrow, I read somewhere on one of the threads that someone had a bad connection on the immobiliser relay I will try & source a diagram of the relays & their functions, thanks,Bill.
