hi i have a 89 1.i 205 GL and i am looking for a passingerside driveshaft, aas both boots have gone, ive got a new boot kit, but no cone, so i might have to just buy another driveshaft, i know that there is a vast common part usage with citroen so can anyone tell me what other car used the same driveshafts its fitted with the later ma1 transmition

Go to G S F or Euro car parts with the reg` no and get an exchange shaft for that car its always best in the long run.There are lots of variations so always stick to the one quoted for the vehicle as per chassis no`.

thanks again, i managed to remove the end tin and do the boots ok, i did look at the costs of driveshafts, how come they vary so much? but as it happened my one was ok, with vertually no ware on the bearings, i got it just in time i think made a bit of a mess around the hub though, nice job cleaning that lot up  but its done now, just the front pipe to mend (several pin holes ) ands its MOT ready 3 months early |
