I have just dragged a 205 Roland Garros out of a garden and wanted to get it back on the road , one job was LH driveshaft gaiter. The shaft fell out of the gearbox while I was dealing with this and I lost some oil, where is the filler / level plug ( i can see one near that pressed steel casing on the gearbox, facing to the left, could it be the one? Square drive in the middle of it. What oil should it take? I also noticed the joint wasn't a normal CV joint, and was part of the shaft so I was not able to change the gaiter. Joint wasn't noisy or anything.

I think it's 85w/90, but you should double check that as I'm not 100%.
That's a cracking find, nic elittle project.

its 75/80 gear oil, you have to take the shaft out, and take the inner joint off to do the outer gaitor.
