I rescued a 205 RG from a garden last month and did the work to get it MOTd. (New headlamp, rear bulb, exhaust mount, silly stuff)
As you probably know this model had the sporty aluminium 85bhp engine, 5 speed close-ratio box, electric windows, alloy wheels, tacho etc and half leather interior. Car is solid as anything (205s usually are aren't they?)
Car has a years mot on it, 115,000 miles. Paintwork is poor on upper surfaces.
Its a hoot to drive and is in the cheap road tax unlike the GTIs.
What's it worth?
If I didn't already have my 405 I would be tempted to keep it but I have to sell it.
