Have no regrets, this is just far too expensive and not worth it. I paid less for my V6Ti in excellent condition and the prices have not really changed in the last 8years.

You're looking at thousands of pounds of restoration. You can see rust on the wings, on the doors, below the windscreen, in the wheel arches, on the bonnet. God knows what's under that non-original coat of paint but, to be fair to the seller, he's not hiding that the car is in serious need of restoration.

Front & rear wings have already been replaced, the interior is that of Series 2, it does not look like a car that underwent a decent restoration in the past but more of a DYI job with limited funds.

My conclusion: run away (but who would really spend £3.5k for that?) unless you get the pair for under £1k and want to commit yourself to a huge & expensive enterprise.
