My daughter had the anti polution and then low oil pressure lights come on. She took it to the local Peugeot garage who booked it in to replace the catalytic converter under warranty. Meantime it was safe to drive.
1. My understanding was that catalytic converters failed because of other reasons . What questions should she put to the Peugeot garage about possible other work?
2. The car has been using oil recently. What is the Peugeot acceptable oil usage for this engine (BMW)?
