Hi Lads,This one has got me? 206 1.4 Auto, X reg`.Every now and again when driving the temp gauge goes to red and the "stop" light flashes, carry on driving and it goes back to nornal temp`.The engine is NOT overheating and the cooling fan cuts in and out as normal, even when the gauge is off the clock and the stop light flashing.

was talking to one of the lads i used to work with today because im sure we had this once before and he seams to think we just changed the temp sensor, 2 pin blue if i remember correctly, can u not get any live readings from the ecu while driving cause if the sensor is playing up it will tell you in the engine ecu parameters.

He`s got the car back and said he will live with it? We all know what will happen, one day it will split a hose boil its nuts off and he will ignore the red flashing light. (The customer is always right)
