I have a 407 2.2 Sport saloon 06 reg with RT3 Sat Nav.
Is there any way of making the dash board show the Trip Computer MPG information permanantly instead of only for a few seconds? The panel on the dash board that shows this information is blank until the button on the stalk is pressed. Every other type of car I have driven allows a continuous display of the Trip Computer information on the dash board.
The Trip Computer information can be displayed continuously on the RT3 screen but I would rather have the Sat Nav map displayed there.
Thanks

No. It's deliberately kept free so if a warning message pops up it is immediately conspicuous and catches the drivers eye.
Next time I hook the car up to Planet I'll have a play, but I'm fairly sure the configuration can't be changed.

Thanks for the reply. I was afraid that would be the case. The system is capable of showing lots but the options available on how it can be dispalyed are rather limited.

Saw this thread the other day and thought 'Yeah, that p*sses me off as well on my 308 SW' Then driving back from Scotland yesterday, I somehow managed to get the display to remain permanently on. Not sure how it happened but maybe it is worth playing around a bit more with the stalk or the menu button.
