Greetings! My name is Wiljan Muller and I'm from The Netherlands. I'm posting this on behalf of a member of the Dutch Peugeot 205 GTI Club.
In the weekend of September 22-23rd 2007, our car was stolen from an industrial estate near The Hague. The car we are talking about is a road legal, circuit prepared Peugeot 205 with Dimma Type 2 bodykit. The last 3,5 years the car has been completely rebuild from scratch.
Characteristics of the car:
Make: Peugeot
Model: 205
Color: yellow
License plates (Dutch): XX-12-XG
Exterior:
- Dimma Type 2 bodykit
- Custom made front bumper (unpainted)
- Custom made rear bumper (unpainted)
- 3-part PLS rims, model Indy (center disc painted black)
- Black trunk bonnet
- Front bonnet with welded-in locks
Interior:
- 12-way welded rollcage
- 6-way black seatbelts (Sabelt) with yellow shoulderpads
- Cobra bucket seats (model Suzuka): black fabric with yellow fabric seat and backrest cushions. The integrated headrests have the name 'Dimma' sowed in.
- Stainless steel battery cage
- Ignition panel in center console of dashboard
Engine/suspension:
- 1.9 16v (Mi16) engine
- Brand new 6-speed gearbox
- Bilstein coilovers with excentric camberplates
Pictures
Important:
After we've spread the word about the theft, the car has been spotted regularly. We have reason to believe that the car has been shipped to Belgium or the UK. We would kindly ask you to look around for this car and/or its parts (eBay for instance). Please, do not hesitate to contact us at jopodima@msn.com if you think you have a lead that could possibly track down the car. Even the slightest thoughts are greatly appreciated!
So, there you have it. A car with more than three years of blood, sweat and tears (and a lot of money) put into it.. gone.. So, please... If you happen to know more about this car, or if you have seen it, contact the owners (Joop and Alan de Nijs) at jopodima@msn.com. Or drop me a message at mullerw@gmail.com
Also, I and the owners would greatly appreciate it if you would help us spread the word by copying this message to as much messageboards you know. In the case that you have posted this message elsewhere, please leave me a link to it in this topic or at my emailaddress: mullerw@gmail.com
I can't emphasize it enough: any help is greatly appreciated!
