Are you loyal to the marque or do you occasionally stray? Do you keep your cars for years or swap them on a whim?
Since I was 17 I think I've had my fair shrare of Peugeots and other cars. As far as I can remember here's the list
Renault 5 TL (Mk1) Peugeot 104 ZS 1124cc (it begins) Peugeot 104ZS 1360cc (a pattern emerges) MG Midget 1275 MG Midget 1275 Ford Escort Mk 1 Mexico (loud) Fiat 131 1600 TC Fiat 131 2000 TC Sport (lovely) Peugeot 104ZS 1360 (again?) Colt Celeste (in South Africa) MG Metro (oh boy - worst car I ever owned) Citroen Visa GTi (wha?) Citroen Visa GTi 115 Land Rover Series 3 Lightweight VW Golf GTi Mk 2 8v Citroen XM Estate (god I loved that car, when it went) VW Golf GTi Mk 3 8v (dullest car ever) VW Golf GTi Mk4 1.8T (until this one) Peugeot 104 ZS 1360 (hillclimbing toy)
Anyone else got a longer or more eclectic list?

This'll show my age, but only a couple of the more recent were bought new!
58?/61? Austin Cambridge 65 Hillman Superminx ?? Ford Prefect - inherited it - oh those wonderful vacuum wipers! 67 Midget - good fun 72 Escort van 73 Spitfire 69 Ford Corsair 2000e, I'd buy another tomorrow 74 Hillman Minx estate - often broken into but never actually stolen - wonder why? 71 Beetle - hated it 73 Viva, came free with the wife when we tied the knot 76 Cavalier 1600 81 Datsun Bluebird - built like a tank and about as quick, but I liked it 85 Astra van - written off by a friend who borrowed it 89 Astra 1600 - good fun 81 Escort van 85 Fiat Regata 1600 - quickish but unreliable and of course rusty
Now to the decent stuff (apart from the 405)
83 504 pickup - borrowed it off the FIL for a month, kept hold of it for about a year 87 405 1.9 Gl, a piece of merde if there ever was one 97 406 1.8 Lx - gutless 98 406 2.0 LX - much better 98 406 coupe - lovely car, but sadly had to go, kids found it claustrophic, where is it now, and can I have it back please? 02 607 - smashing - comfy, fast, safe, oh and bloody expensive 87 505 gti - organ donor, shame to cut it up really, but never mind 58/9? 203 - a lady in waiting/ work in progress 93 205 1.1 - bought for my daughter to learn to drive - should have bought a diesel, or from where I was sitting something with a longer bonnet! Can I have my coupe back please? Cheers, Mike.

I had seven different 305s a 1548cc diesel that I ran as a student that had 348000 miles a 1905cc GLD estate that I ran for eight years a crashed GR and a GR estate with a blown engine that I made into one good one then sold a rusty GTX estate that I ran for a while and scrapped a GLD estate that got the GTX interior and wheels and a turbo injection pump, but I never got round to fitting the turbo... a GTX saloon that can't remember why I got it or what I did with it
a 504 GLD and a 504 pickup that sacrificed its engine for the GLD
an 806 that my wife nicked off me (I still get to drive it sometimes)
a 604 that I drive more often than I should and sits in the rain when it shouldn't, but there's nothing I can do about that (it won't fit in my garage)
the only aberration has been 1996 VW Passat TDI that I still have as it's just so utterly reliable, quick and economical and yet worthless

Only had Peugeot cars to date: 1990-1991: 1977 1.3l 304GL (great 1st car, complete turn off with girls, solid: destroyed a Renault 21) 1991-1998: 1985 1.3l 305Base (fantastic reliability, could have lasted another 10years, ~350k km when disposed of) 1998-2002: 1998 2.0l 406Coupé (bought brand new, loved the looks, disappointing performance) 2002- : 2000 3.0l 406Coupé V6SE (still in love with the looks, good performance but absolute crap reliability - electronic nightmare) 2002- : 1980 2.7l 504Coupé V6Ti (my best ever Peugeot, absolutely in love, never breaks down, girls turn-on ) I'll keep the 504, but that's it. My next everyday car won't be a Peugeot, they've become too ugly and unreliable. I'm turning to the Germans. The only other Peugeot I'd buy would be a 304cab or a 505, but that'd be to keep company to the 504.

Well I can 'bookend' with Pugs! 1990ish - Pug 304s cab circ '73 (Finally given away in 2005 and lovingly re-restored by a French enthusiast) 1998ish Ford Escort - Had to drive to the scrapyard without a clutch and the passenger door held on with gaffer tape) 1999 VW Golf Mk11 2000 VW Corrado 16v (3 points on licence) & written off by an old lady in a 305 ( 2002 VW Corrado 2L 2005 A35 - Circ' '53 (very scary on M25) 2005 Audi A3 Tsport (4 points on licence, ahem) and finally... 2006 Pug 504 Cab circ 1970 (points slowly coming off licence again now...) I am hoping to beat my grandfather's record of 52 cars.. a serious car nut who seemed to have owned just about everything, including at one time twelve Austin 7's!
