hi all, 1st post, i have a prob with my 406 the engine management light comes on then the car loses power, after half hr not running start car up light stays on but power has returned, had new fuel pumps fitted (under bonnet & in fuel tank) would anybody have any ideas or had the same problem ?

Get back to the garage that fitted the pumps, may be a warranty issue?? It will have to be plugged into a diag` tool to find out what fault codes are stored.
