Hello! Newbie here... back in 1986, my mum traded in her old Citroen LNA for a brand-new dark blue Pug 205 954cc, registration D96 PGO. Can't remember how many doors it had, but I think it was the 3-door. Later, about 1993, it was replaced with a 1.4 litre Roland Garros special edition, with the personalised registration H2 VHC. This last was sold in 2002 to our garage mechanic, who then sold it on to a young student... since then, we've been an exclusively BMW household (1995-bought G-reg E30 318i Touring sold 2007 and subsequently scrapped despite promises to the contrary from the buyer , V-reg E46 318i Touring bought 2002, Y-reg E39 520i Touring bought 2009) and really appreciate their RWD chassis and excellent build quality... but I know that my parents miss the go-kart lightweight Pugs, especially the RG, although I know they don't miss their build quality, which was terrible (on the RG, for example, the fixtures holding the driver's seat to the inner seat rail pulled out of the flimsy folded steel rail, leaving the seat free to tip under cornering - Peugeot UK couldn't have cared less). I'm actively considering certain old Peugeots myself as I look to start driving myself...
