405 GLD 92 Rad drain plug leaks

Hello . The radiator drain plug (on lower right hand side of radiator) leaks so that coolant comes out of the small pipe even when the plug is scewed in tight.

I have tried wrapping black tape around the threads but that has no effect. Rad is othewise in good condition. Are there any solutions apart from a new rad ? tia.

sounds like the o-ring is worn, try putting a new one in there

Thanks Frank, where is the O ring ? I did not see anything when I took out the plug.

should be on the end of the plug, if not it might be stuck in the rad
