Hi, Does anyone know if a 406 injector pump will fit a 306 XTDt N,reg. The pumps are both BOSCH and visually look the same except the 406 pump has some sensor on top of the throttle lever(3 wires) and two wires coming from something underneath and my old one doesnt. Would I just leave these unconnected and what are they...(Underneath some kind of fuel heat resistor???) (Throttle position sensor maybe ?)... I removed the security metal bracket on the 406 pump to access the solenoid supply. Regards Dom

Its done...It fitted, which I thought it would as it looked physically the same.It started after a few adjustments to let the fuel through by swapping components from one pump to the other. It sounds like a tractor but will adjust timing to hopefully remedy this by turning pump slightly until it sounds better. I havent detailed the fitting procedure but here it is generally.: www.youtube.com/watch?v=k66giEAAf5o
