hi
I just changed the instrument panel on my car (peugeot 4071.6 /06). I had about 79....miles, when the Peugeot dealer fitted the new instrument panel, the new panel shows more miles then i had, they said that the old panel was rollback, which is not true ..( I checked it).. and also two options don't work anymore... so when i get the key in ...with the ignition on position, all of the warning lihgts tested come on. They are switched off after a few seconds. the Punctured tyre warning lihgt and Diesel engine pre-heat warning light did not come on , I told the peugeot staff , they looked at it and said that I've never had that option on this model..(I remember i had it).. after that i went home and looked in the car book and i got that .... so I think that they did not fitt the instrumet panel properly and did not reset the screen with the mileage... that's all I hread from others... What do you think ... if you've been through this or know something please let me know...!! I will appreciate it
Thanks Alex

if the millage has changed then they have fitted second hand clocks which had a higher millage then the originals. and if somthing is not displayed then they havnt programed the clocks right or they are the wrong clocks.
if they have fitted a second hand set of clocks with a higher millage then that is naughty and i would contact peugeot customer care and complain and tell them to sort it out, because if they have done that then they will also have to replace the bsi as the new millage will of transfered to that aswell. also you car is worth considerably less then before they were fitted.

first thanks for your answer!
The panel was changed because two clocks did not work: the fuel one the the engine culant...
The Peugeot Dealer I was... called me this week and asked if everything is alright with the instrument panel...I told them that and Monday I'll be there ...they wanna have a look at it again.. but I think they f**ked it up...and they're trying to cover it as they did when i picked the car up... I've read on many websites where people say not any Dealer is professional enough to change a instrument panel...etc
As far as I know ...the panel is new I saw it before they fitted it, They also told me the mileage remain stoked in...somewhere in the car.. and when they changed the new one came on the right mileage ...that's what they said...I don't think so because I checked the MOT's. and the new mileage come on is too higher....179... I wait your answer guys!! Thanks
